Ryan/Chelsea-Clinton Community Health Center held an Arbor Day event with second graders from P.S. 111 in Hell’s Kitchen on Friday, April 27. The children learned about the importance of trees to the environment and their overall health with a reading by Assemblymember Linda Rosenthal of the book, “The Great Kapok Tree” by Lynne Cherry. Each child received a copy of the book and a planting to take home.
