To help kick off Lenox Hill Hospital’s Nurses’ Week celebrations, Jason Biggs and wife Jenny Mollen stopped by to honor nurses and give thanks for their hard work, especially throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

With their family based in New York City, the couple wanted to show their appreciation for the staff that has taken care of not just them, but also their parents and kids.

“My dad is a doctor, and we always say, ‘if you want something done, ask a doctor. If you want something done right, ask a nurse,’” Mollen joked to an audience of nurses. “So, I’m very grateful for all that you do.”

In 2017, after Mollen gave birth to her second son at Lenox Hill, the couple became friendly with Lisa Schavrien, RN, nurse navigator in the Labor & Delivery unit. Mollen has also been an advocate for thyroid health. A patient of Lenox Hill’s Dr. Minisha Sood, Mollen has spoken publicly about her battle with hyperthyroidism.

“The nursing staff here are just incredible,” said Biggs. “I’m sure I’ll be here very soon,” he said, referring to how often he is at the hospital, bringing his parents to their doctors’ appointments.
