Man wanted for smashing police car windowPolice said that a 25-year-old man broke the back window of a parked police cruiser in front of 450 West 17th St. on Saturday, June 30 around 3:30 a.m. Police said that the officers in the car were on patrol when the suspect struck the back windshield. The suspect reportedly fled east towards Ninth Avenue but police were unable to find the suspect.

Woman ALLEGES harassMENTA 42-year-old woman reported that she was harassed while inside the elevator at her apartment building inside 400 West 43rd Street on Saturday, June 30 at 6:50 p.m. She told police that she got into the elevator with her daughter when an unknown man entered behind her. She said that the man held out a $100 bill and asked her to smile. She told police that she felt uncomfortable and alarmed by the incident since she was with her daughter at the time

Woman says ex assaulted herA 24-year-old woman reported that a man she was in a relationship with assaulted her when they got into an argument about breaking up while at the Circle Line on West 42nd Street at 12th Avenue on Friday. The victim told police that they were on a date at the time but when they got into an argument about breaking up, the suspect reportedly held the victim’s bag and cellphone to prevent her from leaving. The victim told police that the suspect then grabbed her wrist and hit her arm, causing bruising, then punched the victim’s knee and used a chokehold on her, making it difficult for her to breathe. The victim was able to get her bag and phone back and the suspect fled the scene.

Man wanted for alleged assault of girlfriendA 39-year-old woman reported that her 39-year-old boyfriend assaulted her inside their apartment at 264 10th Ave. on Saturday, June 30 at 5:57 p.m. The victim told police that she and her boyfriend got into an argument over house keys while she was getting ready for a party when the suspect threw a trash can at her and punched her in the face. The victim said that the suspect also slapped her, hitting her in the ear. The suspect was not on the scene when police arrived and no arrests have been made.

Man reports assaultA 19-year-old man reported that he was assaulted in front of 508 West 20th St. on Sunday, July 1 at 2:30 a.m. The victim told police that he got into an argument with a man that he didn’t know when he was walking on West 20th Street and the man reportedly punched him in the face multiple times, causing bruising to his cheeks and left eye and a cut on his ear. The suspect fled in an unknown direction. Police said that the victim was highly intoxicated and non-compliant. No arrests have been made.

ex-girlfriend threatenedA 45-year-old woman reported that her 49-year-old ex-boyfriend threatened her on Tuesday, June 26 at 2 a.m. while she was in her West 18th Street apartment. The victim told police that the ex-boyfriend called her and said that he would kill her if she didn’t stop going to the police and court.
